Evidence of Work
For this project, we were tasked with creating a brochure concerning a made-up underwater vacation destination. Inside this brochure we had to insert some facts that we had learned in our unit about the sea floor. We also had to include illustrations of what some of the geological features might look like. Then, after doing that, all I did was color to make it a final project.
Content
Hydrothermal Vent- a fissure on the seafloor where geothermally heated water releases
Continental Margin- The shallow water area surrounding a continent, consists of the continental rise, the continental slope, and the continental shelf
Mid-Ocean Ridge- A seafloor mountain system formed by plate tectonics
Abyssal Plain- Underwater plain on the deep ocean floor
Continental Rise- Underwater feature found between the continental slope and the abyssal plain

Reflection
This project was fast moving and only had a few steps. However, through doing these steps I was forced to gain a greater amount of knowledge about the different features of the sea floor. I was extremely interested when we were in the researching process of this project. My knowledge of the ocean floor and its features got much better as you can see from what I wrote on the brochure. Much like our last project, I also enjoyed the drawing process. I tried hard to make my drawings better as you can hopefully see in my drawings. One thing I struggled with though is time management. Since it was such a short project, I ended up pushing it all back until when it was due. In the future, I will try to manage my time better so I don't have to stress about the deadlines.
